TO WHITE'S ANIMAL RESCUE

Lovely Rosie was found as a stray and taken to another rescue, where she was neutered. Sadly they had no space to keep her so they planned to release her back to the area where she was found, where locals were feeding her. Fortunately, we had space to take her in! The team caring for her felt she was far too affectionate and friendly to end up back on the streets if it could be avoided. 

 

Rosie has almost certainly been a pet at some point in her life; she absolutely adores people and loves nothing more than fuss and attention. She has settled into her foster home incredibly quickly and has shown herself to be a loving, friendly girl who loves spending time with her humans.

 

She did have a heart murmur detected with us which has been investigated. It seems it is present when she is stressed travelling to the vets. She has had a heart scan and does not require any medication or further treatment at present. There will likely be insurance exclusions for her heart. 

 

Rehoming criteria:  

• suitable for first time owners

• older children due to her unknown history

• no other cats  

• could potentially live with a calm, cat-savvy dog

• can be left for a working day 

• will need access to a garden 

 

Cleo is a beautiful pure black girlie who is approximately 2 years old. She came in to rescue as her previous owners were struggling with the number of cats they had. Cleo was living with numerous other cats as well as two dogs, but she would often take herself off for some peace and quiet. She is loving life as an only cat in her foster home so we are looking for a forever home where she can continue getting all the fuss and attention as an only cat. 

 

Cleo enjoys human company, but she isn’t a lap cat. She’s very content sitting beside you, keeping you company, and likes you to respect her paws-on-the-floor approach, as being picked up really isn’t her thing! She also enjoys playing with her toys, especially wand/fishing rod toys, and toy mice. 

 

Cleo’s fosterer says she’s the only cat she’s known who doesn’t wake anyone up at night! Cleo does her own thing and waits patiently until her fosterer is up - and then gets very vocal about breakfast! 

 

Could you offer Cleo a home where she can enjoy company, playtime, and a little independance?

Ash (male) and Etta (female) are a bonded pair of tabby kittens. Ash came in to rescue when he was only a few weeks old along with his 6 siblings and his lovely mum. All of his siblings, and his mum, have now been adopted. Etta was found straying on her own at around 7 weeks old and joined Ash’s family, even being accepted by Ash’s mum. Both are typical playful, energetic kittens who love to playfight, chase one another, and play with their toys.

 

Ash is very confident and affectionate, and loves to climb on to his fosterer’s lap for a cuddle. Etta, likely due to her past, is a little more reserved and will take a moment to get used to new people, studying them from a distance before coming closer. In her foster home, she can be wary when her fosterer first reaches to stroke her, and sometimes moves away, but if she allows a stroke (which she often does) then she realises she likes it and always stays for more, and starts purring! When Ash is sitting on their fosterer’s lap, Etta often chooses to settle down next to them & often puts a paw on her lap too. All in all, Etta is not an excessively nervous kitten and definitely enjoys affection on her terms, but she may never be a lap cat like Ash.

 

We think a calm home without young children would be best for this pair, owing to Etta’s more wary nature. Both have been neutered, vaccinated and chipped. They are in foster in Reading.

Meet Jelly and Custard , the cutest pair of kittens you could ever wish to meet!

Jelly is the quiet, inquisitive one. She loves exploring new parts of the house and is surprisingly good at finding the best hiding spots! The one exception to her quiet nature is, of course, feeding time, then she certainly knows how to make herself heard!

Custard is the outgoing one. She loves a cuddle, enjoys being around people and is always happy to be involved in whatever is going on. Jelly loves people too, but she just needs a little more time to warm up.

But one thing is absolutely certain, these sisters are devoted to each other. If they can’t see or find one another, they’ll happily meow until they’re reunited. They love nothing more than chasing each other around the house, playing together and generally getting up to mischief.

Jelly and Custard really are the perfect little pair - two very different personalities, but completely inseperable.

Saffron and Paprika are a gorgeous brother-and-sister pair looking for their forever home together.

​

These two are loving, affectionate kittens who adore attention, sofa cuddles and, if they get the chance, snuggling up in your bed too!

​

Don’t be completely fooled by their cuddly side! They’re also full of kitten energy and love playing with toys, chasing things around the house and keeping each other entertained.

​

Saffron isn’t keen on other cats apart from Paprika, so they will need a home where they are the only cats.

​

They have so much affection to give and would love a family who will include them in everyday life, with plenty of cuddles, playtime and companionship.

​

If you’re looking for two beautiful little companions to fill your home with cuddles and kitten chaos, Saffron and Paprika could be the pair for you!

Boots is a gorgeous six-month-old boy with a wonderful personality and so much love to give.

​

Boots is deaf, which is relatively common in white cats, particularly those with blue eyes. However, this certainly doesn't stop him from enjoying life! He's an incredibly affectionate boy who loves following you around the house, keeping you company and making sure he's involved in whatever you're doing. He's also a real purr machine who absolutely loves attention and affection.

​

Boots would particularly benefit from a home where someone works from home or part-time, as he really enjoys having people around.

​

Because Boots is deaf, he will need to be an indoor cat with access to a secure catio or, ideally, a fully cat-proofed garden where he can safely enjoy the outdoors.

​

Boots really is a special cat who will make a wonderful companion. We're hoping to find him a loving home where he can enjoy plenty of cuddles, companionship and a safe environment in which to explore.
